Fun Facts
The song marks the first meeting between Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Anjali (Kajol) after years apart. It’s filled with nostalgia, playful teasing, and emotional undertones, reflecting their deep bond and unresolved feelings.
The saree-flying scene at the end of the song started off as a joke between choreographer Farah Khan and director Karan Johar. Kajol initially thought it was silly, but it became one of the most memorable visuals in the film.
Kajol didn’t want to shoot the adorable laugh featured in the song because she felt it was too dramatic. It happens when Rahul teases Anjali about how she hasn’t changed at all, and she responds with a mix of embarrassment and joy, leading to that spontaneous giggle (around 00:48).
