| aane se uske, aaye bahaar jaane se uske, jaaye bahaar ba.Dee mastaanee hai, meree mehboobaa meree zindagaanee hai, meree mehboobaa | With her arrival, spring has come With her departure, spring has gone My beloved is very charming She is my life! |
| is ghaTaa ko mai.n toh uskee aa.nkhon kaa kaajal kahoo.ngaa is hawaa ko mai.n toh uskaa lehraataa aa.nchal kahoo.ngaa kaliyo.n kaa bachpan hai phoolo.n kee jawaanee hai, meree mehboobaa meree zindagaanee hai, meree mehboobaa… | I’ll call this dark cloud The kohl of her eyes I’ll call this breeze Her swaying sari She’s the childhood of buds My beloved is the youth of blooms! She is my life! |
| beet jaate hai.n din kaT jaatee hai aa.nkho.n me.n raate.n hamm naa jaane kyaa kyaa karte rehte hai.n aapas me.n baate.n mai.n tho.Daa, deewaanaa tho.Dee see deewaanee hai, meree mehboobaa meree zindagaanee hai, meree mehboobaa… | The days pass by The nights are spent sleeplessly I don’t know what to do With all the sweet-nothings we talk about I am a little crazy My beloved is a little crazy, too She is my life! |
| AAA~~~~ | Aaa~~~~ |
| saamne mai.n sab ke, naam uskaa nahee.n le sakoo.ngaa saamne mai.n sab ke, naam uskaa nahee.n le sakoo.ngaa voh sharam ke maare rooTh jaaye toh mai.n kyaa karoo.ngaa hooro.n kee, malikaa hai pariyo.n kee raanee hai, meree mehboobaa meree zindagaanee hai, meree mehboobaa… ba.Dee mastaanee hai, meree mehboobaa | I won’t be able to utter her name before everyone I won’t be able to utter her name before everyone If she gets offended out of embarrassment What will I do then? She’s the queen of flowers My beloved is the princess of buds! She is my life! My beloved is very charming |

About The Lyrics
The Hindi lyrics for this song were put together by P. Mohan [1] using various Internet resources and the subtitles of the original movie.
Fun Facts
The song is picturized on the lead character Mohan (Jeetendra) singing to the heroine Radha (Tanuja) who is on a wheelchair. During the song, Mohan encourages Radha to get up from the wheelchair and stand up, which she does with some effort.
In another version of the song, Mohan is shown in a joyful and romantic mood, dancing and expressing his happiness. The visuals are filled with flowers, open skies, and vibrant nature, symbolizing the arrival of spring and love.
The phrase “Aane Se Uske, Aaye Bahaar” (With her arrival, spring has come) became a popular metaphor in everyday language for the joy someone brings into one’s life.
Laxmikant–Pyarelal won the award for Best Music Director at the 17th Filmfare Awards in 1970 for their music in “Jeene Ki Raah”.
